1st Annual Casino Night

Join us for an evening full of fun & games for all. This event is open to the public, ages 21+, so bring your friends and family. Our goal is to raise over $40,000 during this event to support the curriculum and programs at St. Mary School.

We're excited to announce that we'll have casino games like Blackjack, Texas Hold'em Poker, Roulette, and Craps. We will also have a silent auction, fun non-casino games, raffles, a DJ, dancing, heavy appetizers, and a cash bar by Fatty's Pub & Grille with specialty drinks exclusively for us by Whiskey Acres. 

Each ticket includes $50 in play money plus 1 raffle ticket upon arrival. At the end of the evening, your chips will be converted to raffle tickets for a chance to win exclusive prizes including:

Saints & Scholars Award Winners

We are excited to honor Jamie and Kristen Walter as our Saints and Scholars recipients this year!

The Walters have been parents at St. Mary School for 20 years!  Their youngest child graduates this school year. Their dedication to the Catholic faith and to our community at St. Mary's has been invaluable.

We are humbled by their passion for educating our school community on the Empower Illinois Invest in Kids Tax Credit Scholarship program.  Mr. & Mrs. Walter have hosted multiple evening informational sessions at Whiskey Acres to educate our school community about how the state tax credit program works to provide scholarships for students attending St. Mary School.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter also volunteer and give to St. Mary in many other ways as well.  They have been donating their family cabin in Wisconsin as an auction item to us for years as well as Whiskey Acres has been a sponsor of our fundraisers since its inception.  In addition, Kristen has been a long time class room parent and has helped with many school events over the years such as fundraisers for the Washington D.C. field trip, Lancer Legacy Ball set-up, sports concessions, and field day.  

Our school finds it very important to honor individuals that go above and beyond to serve our school and parish community.  We gladly welcome Jamie and Kristen into this honorable group of dedicated individuals who have given so much in time, treasure, and talent over their tenure at St. Mary School!  Congratulations and thank you very much for your many years of love and support; May the Lord keep blessing you forever and always!
